Why it exists

Forestry work is spread across remote sites, often with no signal, by crews who move from job to job. The information it depends on is spread too: maps as PDFs, counts in notebooks, hazards in messages, progress in spreadsheets. ForestrPro brings that information into one place that works in the forest as well as in the office.

What it is

• An Android app for the field. Offline maps, GPS, planting jobs, cutting tasks, vegetation records and surveys. Everything is saved on the phone first.
• A server for the team. Accounts, teams, projects, shared maps and tasks, with every permission checked on the server.
• A web dashboard for the office. What needs attention, task review, planting reports, the team map and exports.

How we build it

• Offline first. Work recorded without a signal is never lost, and is sent when there's a connection.
• Honest about data. An old GPS position is never shown as live. A refused change is shown, not hidden. Recorded value is never presented as earnings.
• Location by consent. Joining a team never shares your location. Each person switches it on and off themselves.
• Open formats. Your data goes in and out as GeoPackage, Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML, GPX and CSV, and works with QGIS.
• Your records stay yours. Team data is shared only with your team.
