How can we help?

Step-by-step guides to the ForestrPro app and the web dashboard, written for use in the field.

Getting started

Install the app, find your way around and try it out with sample data.

Maps and GPS

Import PDF maps for offline use, see where you are, record tracks, measure and navigate.

Recording in the field

Forests and compartments, hazards and observations, trees and plants, inspections and surveys.

Tree planting

Set up planting jobs with species and rates, count trees as you plant, and keep track of progress.

Tree cutting and tasks

Create cutting and clearance tasks, work through them step by step, review the results and record timber stacks.

GIS and QGIS

Bring boundaries and layers in from GIS files, and send your field records back to QGIS.

Teams and accounts

Create an account, set up a team, share projects and maps, and share your location when you choose to.

Dashboard and troubleshooting

Run your team from the office with the web dashboard, and fix the most common problems in the field.

GIS: browser and desktop

Make and edit your project's map layers in the browser from the dashboard, or on Windows with ForestrPro Desktop GIS, and publish them to your team.

Lone working

Check in while you work alone, so your team knows to look for you if you don't. Works with no signal too.

Timber tariffing and felling licences

Estimate standing timber volume with tariffing surveys, and make felling licence maps and spatial data from your compartments.

Risk assessments

Write site and job risk assessments, or upload your own, and have the crew read and sign them.
