- Go to Jobs (or Home) and tap Create a job.
- Type of work: tap Tree planting.
- Details: enter the Job name, for example "Cpt 12 restock", and optionally the planned start date and notes for the planters. Tap Continue.
- Location: choose the Forest and compartment, and draw the planting area or use the compartment's boundary if you like. Or tap Skip this step.
- Who: Only me, or one of your teams and its project so the team can follow progress. Choose the planter or crew if you know it.
- Species: for each species, type its name (pick it from the suggestions), the number of trees to plant and the Rate per tree (£). Tap Add another species for more.
- Check and create: tap Change next to anything that's wrong, then Create job.
The job opens straight away. To change it later, open the job and tap Edit. That's also where you can make a forest from one of your imported maps.
Changing a rate later only affects trees recorded after the change, so earlier counts keep the rate they were planted at.
