Get your team's maps for offline use

Download the maps and layers shared with a project so they work with no signal, and, as a manager, share your own maps and records with the team.

Download the project's maps

  1. Open the team, then the project.
  2. Under Offline map data, tap Prepare for offline.
  3. Wait for Ready offline. Do this on Wi-Fi or with a good signal, before you go out.

Shared layers then appear on the map, and shared base maps in the Maps library, all working with no connection. If the download is interrupted, tap Prepare for offline again to carry on.

Share maps with the project (owners and managers)

  1. Open the project and tap Share map data….
  2. Choose what the team needs: records (an area or everything) and base maps from your Maps library.
  3. Tap Share with the team.

Sharing again replaces the project's copy. Photos aren't included. Shared data is visible to everyone in the team.
