- Plant
- In Jobs, open a planting job and choose Start planting. Start a session, pick the species and tap +1, +10 or +50. Use Correct a mistake to take trees off, Pause for breaks, and + Tree refill point here to mark where bags of trees are. Finish session when you're done. Counts are the same as the app's, and the manager sees them at once.
- Tasks
- In Jobs, open a job to Accept it (or Join this task if it's shared), Start work, Update progress, Add a photo and choose Work completed. Directions opens the route in your maps app.
- Your position
- Maps have a show my position button. When adding a pin, timber stack or vegetation record, choose Use my position (GPS); when drawing a line or area, Add my position adds the spot you're standing on.
- GPS tracks
- Choose Record a GPS track in Settings or in Records › Tracks and drawings, then Start tracking. Recording carries on while you use other pages, and after the page is reloaded, until you press Stop tracking. The page says whether GPS positions are arriving and how accurate they are; positions less accurate than 50 m aren't recorded. Browsers stop giving positions when the phone locks or another app is in front: that time is kept as a gap, with no line drawn across it. To record with the screen off on Android, choose Record in the ForestrPro app. Points are kept on the phone, and the finished track is sent when there is a signal.
- Share your location
- In a team's Live tab, choose Start sharing my location. A bar at the bottom shows it's on, with Stop. It stops when you close the page.
- Photos and exports
- In Records, pins and vegetation records have Add photo, which opens the camera on a phone. Export saves the listed records as GeoJSON, KML, GPX or CSV.
