Navigate to a pin, tree or task

Get a straight-line direction and distance from where you are to anything on the map, with turn guidance as you walk.

  1. On Map, tap the pin, tree, task or feature you want to go to.
  2. Tap Navigate here.
  3. A blue dashed line runs from you to the target, and the panel tells you the distance and which way to turn (Straight ahead, Turn left, Turn right, Behind you).
  4. Tap Stop navigating when you're there.

To navigate to any spot, move the map so the crosshair is on it, open the tools button and tap Navigate to the crosshair. On a task's page, use Navigate to task.

Directions are a straight line, not a route along roads or tracks. Watch the ground as you go.
