Set it up
- In the dashboard, choose Tariffing → New survey. Give it a name, the forest and compartment, and the team if it's shared.
- Under Method and use, choose how the volume is worked out: from the tariff tables, or from measured lengths for felled timber.
Record in the forest
- In the app, go to Records → Tariffing surveys and tap Check for surveys. Open the survey: it's kept on the phone.
- Tap + Add a tree or + Add a plot. Enter the species and diameter, the height for sample or top-height trees, and Use my GPS position if you like.
- With no signal, everything is saved on the phone and sent when there's a connection. If someone changed the same tree meanwhile, you choose Send mine or Use theirs: nothing is overwritten without asking.
Calculate and report
Tap Calculate in the dashboard (or Calculate (needs a signal) in the app). Each result is stored with the method, tables and measurements it used, and labelled Calculated, Estimated or Provisional. Under Reports and history choose PDF report or CSV of the trees.
Tariff volumes are estimates for planning and valuation, not a measured timber volume. Reference tables you import start unverified, and must be checked and approved before they're used.
