"Changed on ForestrPro too" in Desktop GIS

What to do when someone in your team published a layer you were also editing: keep their version, publish yours, or decide later.

Desktop GIS never overwrites someone else's work without asking. If a layer you changed was published by someone else since you got it, it asks you to choose:

Use ForestrPro's version (keep mine as a copy)
Their version replaces the layer, and your edits stay in a separate layer named "(my edits)", so you can copy across what you need.
Publish mine (replace ForestrPro's version)
Your layer is published as the newest version and replaces theirs, so only choose this if their changes aren't needed. Ask them first if you're not sure.
Decide later
Nothing changes. Your edits stay on your computer.

To avoid it, choose Get Latest before you start editing a shared layer.
