Drop a pin for a hazard or observation

Mark hazards, windblown trees, blocked roads, gates, loading points and other observations on the map, with a priority, notes and photos.

  1. On Map, tap Add to map.
  2. Under Pin or observation, choose what it is, for example Hazard, Windblown trees, Blocked road, Gate or General observation.
  3. Move the map so the crosshair is on the spot and tap Add at crosshair, or tap GPS to use where you're standing. Then tap Finish.
  4. Add a name, description and Priority. Tap Take photo or Gallery to add photos.
  5. Tap Save. Every pin gets its own reference.

Afterwards

Tap the pin on the map for its details:

  • Create task: turns it into a cutting or clearance task that keeps the pin's reference and location.
  • Edit / add photos: change the details or add more photos.
  • Mark resolved once the issue is dealt with, or Reopen it.
  • Navigate here: directions to it from where you are.

Find all your pins in Records → Records → Pins. Use Hazards only to filter the list.
