Install ForestrPro Desktop GIS

Download and install ForestrPro Desktop GIS on Windows 10 or 11, sign in with your ForestrPro account and open your first project.

ForestrPro Desktop GIS runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Get it from the Desktop GIS page.

  1. Run the setup.exe. It installs for you only, so it doesn't ask for administrator rights. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", choose More info → Run anyway.
  2. Start ForestrPro Desktop GIS from the Start menu and open the ForestrPro tab.
  3. Choose ForestrPro Projects and sign in with the same email and password as the app and the dashboard.
  4. Your teams' projects are listed. Choose Open beside one.

Your sign-in is kept in Windows Credential Manager, so you stay signed in. Sign out in the ForestrPro pane ends it.
