Show, hide and fade map layers

Turn imported maps, forestry data and GIS layers on or off, change their opacity, read the legend, and choose the online base map.

  1. On Map, tap the Map layers button.
  2. Switch each imported map or layer on or off, and drag Opacity to see the base map through it.
  3. Open Legend to see what every colour and symbol means.

The online base map needs a connection; imported maps and your records don't. Change the base map in More → Settings → Base map.

Tip: use Show all forestry data to zoom out to everything you've recorded, and Full-screen map to hide the controls.
