Record trees while you plant

Start a planting session and count trees per species in one tap as you plant. Pause, correct mistakes and finish the session.

Start the session

  1. Open the job from Home or Jobs.
  2. Tap Start planting as your name. To plant as someone else, tap Start as another planter. The first time, enter the Planter's name.
  3. Optionally switch on Track my movements to draw your route on the job's map. It uses more battery.

Count as you plant

  1. Tap the species you're planting.
  2. Tap +1, +10 or +50 as you go. For any other number, tap Enter another quantity.
  3. Switch species at any time by tapping another one.
  4. Taking a break? Tap Pause, then Resume planting. Paused time isn't counted as working time.

Every tap is saved on the phone straight away, so nothing is lost if the app closes or the battery dies.

Made a mistake?

Tap Correct a mistake, enter the Trees to remove and a Reason, then Apply correction. The original entries stay in the record alongside the correction.

Finish

Tap Finish session, add notes if you like, and tap Finish. If you close the app mid-session, Home shows Continue to take you straight back.
