Team roles: owner, manager and member

What owners, managers and members can each do, and how to change someone's role, transfer ownership, remove someone or leave a team.

Owner
Everything a manager can do, plus invitations, roles, the team's name and logo, and deleting the team. Each team has one owner.
Manager
Creates and manages projects, shares maps with them, assigns and reviews work, and can see members who share their location.
Member
Sees the team's projects and maps, claims and works on tasks, and records progress.

Change a role

  1. Open the team and tap the person under Members.
  2. Tap Change role or remove… (owners only).
  3. Choose Make manager, Make member, Transfer ownership… or Remove from team….

Transferring ownership makes you a manager.

To leave a team, open it and tap Leave team…. You'll need a new invitation to rejoin. Owners can delete the team with Delete team….
